Wimbledon 2011: Rafael Nadal vs Andy Murray Odds and Betting Preview

London, UK - British Number One Andy Murray and World Number One Rafael Nadal go head to head this afternoon in a mouthwatering Semi-Final clash at SW19.

Andy Murray has been in sensational form so far at the Championships, seeing off the likes off Richard Gasquet, Ivan Ljubicic and Feliciano Lopez on his way to a sixth Grand Slam Semi-Final. The World Number Four has yet to win a Grand Slam, despite coming close on several occasions and will feel this could be his golden opportunity with Nadal playing through a foot injury and six time champion Roger Federer condemned to an early exit. Murray will be spurred on by the vast majority of the Centre Court crowd in what promises to be a thrilling encounter between two of the World's finest tennis players.

Rafael Nadal faces the toughest test yet of his title defence as he takes on the in-form home favourite for the chance to reach his fifth Wimbledon Final. Despite being hampered by injury, the ten time Grand Slam champion saw off the challenges of Juan Martin Del Porto and Mardy Fish in the last two rounds and is unbeaten at the All-England club since 2007. Rafa leads the head to head between the players 11-4, including straight set victories in both their previous Wimbledon meetings.

Rafael Nadal is the 1/2 favourite for the match with William Hill. The Spaniard is 14/5 on Betfair to win the match in straight sets and 6/1 with Skybet to come through in five. Nadal is 11/10 with Coral to win in spite of a -3.5 game handicap.

Murray is 9/5 with Boylesports to reach his first ever Wimbledon final. The Brit is 9/1 on Betfair to record a straight sets victory and 13/2 with Ladbrokes to scrape through in five. Murray is 10/11 with William Hill to win with a +3.5 game handicap.

Nadal is currently the favourite to win the tournament, at a best price of 11/8 with Betfred. Murray is a 5/1 shot for the Championships on Betfair.

Play is scheduled to begin on Centre Court following the conclusion of the first Men's Semi-Final between Novak Djokovic and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
