Andy Murray 5-2 To End Major Hoodoo In 2012 Despite Melbourne Defeat

Andy Murray is 5-2 with Coral to win his first Major title this year, following his thrilling Australian Open semi-final defeat to world number one Novak Djokovic today. The British number one is 2-7 not to make the breakthrough in 2012.

"Although Andy Murray lost in Melbourne, he proved once and for all that he is capable of mixing it with the very best, and with his partnership with coach Ivan Lendl still in its infancy, the odds suggest a first Major title is not too far away, although he does have the disadvantage of playing in what is truly a golden era for men's tennis," said Coral's David Stevens.
