Federer and Djokovic favourites for Australian Open final

NOVAK DJOKOVIC and Roger Federer are favoured to make it through to the Australian Open final according to Ladbrokes.

A repeat of the 2011 final sees tournament favourite Novak Djokovic (4/9) face underdog Andy Murray at 7/4, however if Murray makes it to the final and achieves the unthinkable it will cost the bookies a cool £500,000 after offering to refund all outright losing single bets.

Roger Federer is odds-on (4/6) to see off Rafael Nadal (6/5) to make it to his sixth Grand Slam final down under.

Petra Kvitova remains the favourite to take home the women's singles title at 13/8 and it's looking like she'll face Victoria Azarenka (3/1) in the final.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "We'll be the only people cheering on Djokovic. But the odds suggest Murray will have as hard a task as last year against the world number one."
