Murray out to 8/1 for ATP World Tour Finals

Andy Murray has been pushed out from 3/1 to 8/1 by Skybet to win the ATP World Tour Finals following his straight-sets defeat to David Ferrer.

The world number three had started his opening match of the season-ending event as the 1/8 favourite, having won his previous four meetings with the Spaniard, but went to down 4-6 5-7 and had to receive treatment after the first set.

Murray will now have to beat world number one Novak Djokovic and the man who knocked him out of the recent Masters event in Paris, Tomas Berdych, to make the semi-finals.

Ferrer comes in from 40/1 to 22/1 for the title following his win, remaining an outsider given his poor record indoors, while Djokovic has been cut to 5/2 second favourite with Roger Federer 11/8 and Rafael Nadal 6/1 following their respective wins on Sunday.
