Djokovic Presence Prompts Punters To Back Serbia For Davis Cup Win

Serbia have been backed further with bookmakers Coral and cut to 9-4 (from 5-2), ahead of their quarter-final Davis Cup tie against Sweden.

The defending champions will definitely have the assistance of last weeks Wimbledon winner, Novak Djokovic, after his participation was confirmed today.

"We made Serbia the favourites after Novak's Wimbledon success, but the news that he will be playing against Sweden has prompted punters to back them once again, " said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.

Serbia face Sweden in an indoor arena in Halmstad at the weekend.
