He beat Novak Djokovic 6-1, 7-5 and although Djokovic took a 3-0 lead in the second set, the world no 1 always looked comfortable. He had been 1/2 (bet $200 to make $100 profit) to win the final and was 6/5 to win in straight sets. He had been 11/4 to win the Cincinnati Masters prior to the start of the tournament.

Elena Dementieva is the slight favorite to beat Maria Sharapova in the final of the WTA Rogers Cup in Toronto. Dementieva is on offer at best odds of 4/6 (bet $60 to make $40 profit) while Sharapova can be backed at 6/4. Dementieva saw off the pre-tournament betting favorite, Serena Williams, in a 7-6, 6-1 semi final victory. Fourth seed Dementieva was 13/2 to win the tournament at the outset while Sharapova was a 6/1 shot.

Federer is 1/2 (bet $200 to make $100 profit) while Djokovic is on offer at 2/1 to win. Federer is 6/5 to win in straight sets and 10/3 to win 2-1. Djokovic is 4/1 to win in straight sets and 9/2 to win 2-1.
The betting on the WTA Rogers Cup has been shaken up with the departure of joint favorite Venus Williams and world no 1 Dinara Safina, who was rated fourth favorite for the event.
Andy Murray remains the favourite to win the Cincinnati Masters after easily beating Nicolas Almagro 7-6, 6-2.
